Help for Engaged Couples Many engaged couples spend more time preparing for their wedding than their marriage. And when they do participate in premarital counseling or planning, they often spend their time answering questions like “What will our budget look like?” “Who will take out the trash?” and “Which side of the family will we visit on holidays?” While those are all great questions—and can keep couples from going into marriage with wildly mismatched expectations—sexual intimacy is a marriage cornerstone that’s ignored. Unfortunately, many couples go into marriage underprepared. Our Romantic Engaged Couples Retreat and the Divine Desire for Engaged Couples Protocol provide a way for them to begin laying the building blocks of intimacy. We also help couples deal with—and heal from—past sexual baggage before it has a chance to impact their marriage negatively. Our retreats are playful and fun. Couples leave not only with their masculine and feminine hearts fully alive, but with an understanding of what it means for the two to become one flesh, with tools to mutually agree on their sexual theology for their marriage and a deeper love and understanding for their future spouse. In fact, our retreats are so unique that they inspired our reality show, “Virgin Coaches,” airing on TLC on November 11th. Watch the show to see some of the crazy and romantic fun our couples have at our retreats. To learn more about our retreats for engaged couples, click here.
“But if they can’t manage their desires and emotions, they should by all means go ahead and get married. The difficulties of marriage are preferable by far to a sexually tortured life as a single.”
